New Home for COMS

Cumbria O&M Services (COMS) have today opened new secure office premises in Cleator Moor’s Phoenix House, part of the Phoenix Enterprise Centre.

COMS have selected Phoenix House at Cleator Moor for their new offices providing an ideal central location for their West Cumbrian base. COMS Directors Cliff Woodman and Dave Garratt commented “We have been looking at various options for some time now and Phoenix House offered the best solution for our needs. Building on the back of recent successes and with a healthy pipeline of opportunities coming to fruition we required somewhere with the flexibility to satisfy our current needs and provide options for our future growth aspirations”.

The location is ideal to serve local clients at Westlakes Science Park, Sellafield and at LLWR as well as providing a base to pursue opportunities outside the county. We have engaged with local suppliers Carlisle Business Supplies to design the office layout and provide the office furniture and consumables and Meglans of Cockermouth to design a high security IT network allowing us to offer secure handling of client information.

The office will initially be home to COMS new System Engineering Support Services whilst existing Pre-Operations and O&M Engineering Services will continue to be delivered from client and partner locations.
